My two O.S. Pixie Transmitters are ready.
One is a 2.4GHz version with an Orange module and an Attiny85. It has a seperate throttle button, works on sequential and compound mode. Test flight is already done. No problems.
The second one is the 35MHz version with a stripped Futaba style module and Phils S/C encoder on veroboard and a small 2s 350 lipo. Very packed. Just got everything inside. Works great, not flown yet. Cheers

My newest creation, just finished, is an OMU 117 Q transmitter replica. It is less than half size of the original and uses a Futaba style 35MHz module and Phils S/C encoder on veroboard. Works great but not flown yet.
The case is 3D-printed. I did the drawings with OpenSCAD. Cheers

Yes, I used SMD resistors for the low voltage alert divider due to limited space available. Requires a steady hand, not easy at my age.

Since 3-D print is quite popular now, I improved my RCS S/C transmitter replica, to make it look a little more like the real thing. The logo is 3-D printed and glued on.

Where does the surface structure come from? Is it also 3D-printed or is it just a normal hammer finish?

The case is a commercially available aluminum enclosure (Hammond 1550WD) with a hammerite finish, just the logo is 3-D printed.
