As I promised, the next replica transmitter is finished.
It is a R.S.Navigator replica. I call it a "S/C plus" transmitter, it has a S/C button (or in this case a momentary one way rocker switch on the right) for rudder and kick-up elevator, and a two way momentary rocker switch on the left for progressive throttle. The power switch is located on the top end.
It features either compound- or sequential rudder, kick- up elevator only in compound mode, inactivity buzzer, low voltage alert, and provision for escapement on channel four.
The progressive throttle works like the one of a reeds transmitter.
HF is provided by a Futaba style Jamara 35MHz module, the heart is a pro mini Arduino. Power is from a PP3 style 2s lipo.
Works great, makes landings of rudder only aircraft much smoother due to the progressive throttle.

Normally I go flying twice a week, but the bad flying weather overhere made me build the next replica.
It is a 2/3scale replica of a Graupner Standard 30Qu transmitter. It features S/C control on the right button either in compound mode including kick up elevator or sequential mode, depending on holding the button on start-up or not.
The left button is sequential motor control with LED to show the power state.
Other features are inactivity buzzer, low voltage alert, and provision for escapement on ch4.
HF is provided by a Futaba style Jamara 35MHz module, the heart is a Leonardo Beetle. Power is from a PP3 style 2s lipo.
The enclosure is 3D-printed in white PLA, the decal is homemade and printed on self adhesive film.
Works great and looks almost like the real thing, just 33% smaller.

Hi guys
the next replica transmitter is finished.
It is a Futaba FT-3A replica.
It features one of Phil´s S/C encoders with all the bells and whistles.
A rocker switch for power is located on the side.
HF is provided by a Futaba style Jamara 35MHz module. Power is from a PP3 style 2s lipo.
The enclosure is 3D-printed. Works great.

Just finished the 2.4G brother to the Futaba FT-3A transmitter.
This one uses Mike_K´s new S/C encoder. Works great.

Some time ago, I saw a nice, tiny Hinode single channel transmitter in the internet. I like all tiny things, so a replica had to be build.
And here it is. The case is 3D-printed and measures 80x45x38mm, so it is tiny, just big enough for an Orange 2.4G module, an Attiny85 and a PP3 2cell lipo.
It uses the S/C sketch with additional throttle button I am using in several other projects.
It features compound and sequential mode, sequential 3position throttle, inactivity alert, low voltge alert etc.
Works very well and fits in a pocket, but nevertheless a full range transmitter.

The button on yours looks like grey plastic, I was thinking the chrome end cap on a old fuse might just fit over the top, I'm presuming the original was chrome, it looks like chrome

Ron, you are right, the button on the black transmitter is indeed an endcab of a fuse, the button on the FT3A is 3D-printed Pla.
