Hi All

Decided in my interest to resurrect a couple of single channel Coded” transmitters, first one is a Codamac….
Been done a few times before I know , of course the obligatory boards and info was sourced from our good friend Phil G, so a thank you to you Phil, for without these boards ,these old unreliable transmitters would just be dust collectors .
I started by stripping case of all internals, I then made ,using a new piece of glass fibre circuit board another “blank” to mount the stick, switch and button onto .
I used the original joystick switch , slightly modifying the disc which shorts out or “grounds”left or right selection for the pulses , mounted the leds and board at the top of the case along with a LemonRx output stage , Bound Tx to receiver and checked all worked ok , very pleased with result , now for some 1970’s flying …

Very neatly done Rob! Great to see some S/C activity here. I always wondered why MacG went for that complex rotary arrangement instead of a simple toggle switch like the Staveley Tonelock - it must have cost more to make and 'Reeds' toggles were plentiful back then.
Have a fun maiden with it - but remember our motto - ITNVIDH !!! ;)
Cheers
Phil

I got one in a box hidden in a corner after a swap with Pete C....probably time to take it out from storage and restore it, lovely job Robert.
