Hi all.
Looking for a good hammer finish paint for my latest S/C Tx. It's a Hammond aluminium enclosure, and I thought a silver hammered finish might be nice. Are there any recommendations on paint and primer type?
Stew.

hi Stew,
ideally you'll need an etching primer otherwise the hammerite will peel off the die cast box.
Halfords sell it
PS. you can buy hammond boxes that are already finished in hammered paint, powder coated too so very tough and a lovely finish. The hammered copper is a lovely finish too.

Here is one I got from there a while ago, great finish

Hi Ron.
Cheers for that. Lovely work there, looks pure time travel!
I think I'll just spray mine and it will probably look a bit more homespun, but that's kind of the look I'm aiming for.
Thanks again
