Excellent replies guys, thanks so much! Yes, I thought that with having the new S/C 'emulator' up and running, it would be nice to show people what it's actually emulating!
I have considered building a 27Mhz Tx and Rx to existing plans, (which I've yet to find) with the appropriate home brew cases, so I can have an 'authentic' S/C set, but if anyone has any orphan Tx and Rx boards that can be re-housed, that they don't mind selling, I'm all ears.
For some, I understand that S/C is all about nostalgia, unfortunately I'm just a yoof, born in '73, so I missed the fun. For me its all about controlling a model with the minimum of input and fuss. Plus I'm a sucker for anything clockwork or rubber powered, or that includes paxolin or bakelite!
I have a new 2.4 propo set as I'm sure we all do, but give me a simple button any day!
