Decided to use the double chevron original MacGregor logo again

Keeps it somewhere near :D
That’s it completely finished. Case closed.

Now wait, where did I see that blazing, blue Throttle LED before...

These things are brilliant, aren't they? No excuses anymore for not hearing one's motor...
What's the working current on yours?
I think your starboard/port LED adds another nice touch.
And your decal making has turned into an art by itself.
Just ordered the same stuff you are using, as mine is still a bit, uhm.... black.

I’m not sure on the blue led current, but have used them before on the SC encoders without any problems.
What is it that you’ve ordered? Plasticard I presume?

No Ron, I wanted the silver vinyl as a substrate for the clear with black print.
I'm convinced it will work out fine on my Little Black Box...

I was asking about the current, because my club mate MaxZ discovered that with the same load resistor I was using, he had 50 mA.
That would likely kill the 328 in a ProMini over time. We wouldn't want that to happen mid flight would we? ;)
Therefore we both paralleled two outputs instead of one, each with double the resistorvalue.

I'm getting 1 3/4 + hours of working time out of a 2S 300mAh and I 'll bring another one with me, so a flying day will be covered...

Cheers,
Bruno

Bruno,
The silver is great, I’ve used it before. You’ll get a great finish.

Just checked the current draw on the blue led and it’s 21ma.
Should be fine.

Show me how the decals turn out when your vinyl comes.

I will, check my 'My Black Box, finished and functional' thread for that..
This will take some days before it's here and I got enough of the hang of it to make something presentable.
