A few months back, Stew sent me a hammerite coloured case, so I thought I’d put it to good use. I thought I'd do a landscape mode version for a change. Actually feels comfortable and well balanced. Plate is brass. It’s a stand off copy of the famous MacGregor early SC set. Thanks Stew.
Still got a fair bit to do before it’s finished but you get the idea.

Here’s the back panel, with my usual programming sticker attached
I’m using gold mirror vinyl with laser printed clear vinyl on the top, then a quick spray of clear lacquer to seal.

Thanks Phil,
Done a little bit more work on it today.
Complete with chrome carry handle and V/D series switch.
Added the thistle logo, I know this was on the much later transmitters but I like the look of it.

Re: MacGregor landscape TX
Trying a new technique with the decals,
White plasticard with laser printed clear vinyl overlaid then a spray coat of clear lacquer.
This gives a superb lustre finish that looks spot on. Do you like the angled decal on the top made using this method?
Click on image to see the lustre finish close up, looks superb.
