Never built one Stew but did see a couple fly back in the sixties on rudder only - and they flew very well. And yes, it is attractive but with a nice simple structure.

I built one years ago and I am still flying it very often. Since I have a S/C button only radio I mostly fly the Kapitän on the button.
It is a great flying airplane, looking good in the air, very forgiving and easy to fly, wether it is on rudder and elevator, proportional or bang-bang, or S/C on the button.
One of my most flown modells so far.
And believe it or not, if you just ommit the lower wing without changing anything else (no re-balancing required), it flies almost better than with both wings.

Hi All

As usual, late to the proceedings, seems I take fits and starts at reading through the mode zero postings :D

FWIW, I completed the part kit for the Kapitan a wee while ago - it'll be available on fleabay again when I get back from below the parapet :?

It's actually a really pretty model.

Cheers

Neil
