Here are some pics to my homage to Mr Kraft's finest.

Kwik Fli 3 built from original Feb 1968 MAN plans from Outerzone.

Now 5 -6S electric with my original Kraft Tx converted to FrSky 2.4.
Ailerons and elevator servos on Y leads, weight 5 1/2 lbs.

Am 3D printing an Enya 60 to bolt on the nose.

Well done! One of my all time favourites.
Seeing you took the example colour scheme from KF 3 nr. 2:

The KF3 had air under under its wings for the first time this afternoon at the local field, flew perfectly on 6S, and was only drawing 28 A on the 11 x 7 APC E prop, have got a 12 x 10 to try and that draws 50 A on 6S.

Otherwise, nothing dramatic to report, roll rate and controls all well harmonised, couple of turns on one aileron clevis and flies just like I remember in the 70's, but just quiet! Will start moving C.G back from plan position on next flights over Easter as I have a small amount of down trim on the Kraft Tx.

Happy Bunny here :P

Looks really nice Stuart, what motor did you fit, be interesting to run it through ecalc ?

BTW, a 3D printed Enya will just melt with all that methanol about

Cheers
