Yes, I'm just waiting for the latest transfer machine to become available! Before I retired, one of my old modelling chums had a home-made telecine machine for transferring film to video. Much better quality than pointing a camera at the screen!
Nowadays, you can buy one:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wolverine-Supe ... B01KA32HH0
but they've recently come out with a new one that takes bigger reels and encodes at higher quality. I need the bigger reel capability (or else I've got to remember how to edit film!) and would like the enhanced encoding options, but so far they are only available stateside - and they've sold out already!
Maybe they'll become available in the UK later this year.....

This has just appeared on ebay......stuart mackay wrote: ↑08 Mar 2018, 22:18 Another great design of VdB was the Phaeton which ruled FAI pylon racing in the mid seventies before the Violett/Telford Bobcat rule benders arrived from the USA.

There is no way I would pay £250 for it but I think it is a Frank VdB Phaeton??? Does anybody recognise it?

Depends on what engine it has in.
Rossi's, Nelsons are worth a bundle.
