I know there are a number of 'Pageboys' among forum members. I previously had a thread for my build and so here are a few pictures I had saved:

It'll be nice to see some of the other 'Pageboy' builds again, so please post yours.

I built my Pageboy about 35 years ago using a PeeWee for power and rudder only proportional for steering. Now the same Pageboy is still flying strong on electric power (brushed motor, 2sLipo) of course on the button. One of my favorite.

Nice builds, Ive always fancied building one of these.

What did the AUW turn out to be and what deflection did you use on the rudder.

Just weighed my Pageboy and it comes in at 79.6 grams or 2.8 ounces. The rudder deflection is tiny - I just measured mine somewhere between 2 to 3 mm either way. This measurement taken at the lower tip of the rudder. In flight I could see quick response when I used the rudder.

Go for it Ade. The plan is on outerzone. The site states it's a 12" span but it is actually 15". Remember to post your build here.

Hi Carl

I have gone for it.......I'm not the lightest of builders (and my models do not always come out light either) but I will give it a go.

Plans are downloaded, wood is cut, just waiting for a motor and ESC so I can start the build with known weights to get the CoG right.

No problem Ade, my Pageboy was build for IC engine a long time ago, it´s on the heavy side and the AUW is 125g. I flies beautifully even on the heavier weight. Even some wind is no problem at all. A pleasure to fly on the button. I always use it to testfly new SC transmitters. You will love it.

Ade, I'll look forward to seeing how yours turns out.

The motor and ESC arrived in the week and the body is almost complete and I hope to make the wings today.

Once that is done I can work out the best place to put the electronics.

Looking at the plans the CG is not identified, where have you other builders set yours? or do I just go for 33%?

Ade, I asked the same question when I built mine. 33% from LE for CG was suggested and was spot for mine. I put all the electronics right up front in the nose to avoid adding weight. Just the rudder servo in the compartment under the wing.

Thanks Carl

I'll follow that CG advice of 33%.

The wing is built but not split for the dihedral yet.

On the scales together with the radio gear the AUW thus far is 100 grams and that is before doping! I did say I was not the lightest of builders.
