After watching the video I'm glad mine is running from a 1S lipo  - same motor though

I did a close flyby like yourself Wayne with my Pulstar yesterday and had to duck pretty sharpish when I realized it was coming right at me :o

Thanks for the video,
Carl

One last update.
I swapped the 12A ESC for a 6A unit with the brake setting activated, and added more down thrust. I also made up a 260mah 2S pack. Net weight reduction was about 9g or 10%. The rudder throw has also been reduced by about 20%.

Flying performance is now even better, especially the glide. Full power is invigorating but controllable - this morning I even managed a passable(?) immelman, a split S, a loop & a barrel roll :o . Being such a small machine, you have to really concentrate on the attitude of the model at all times, or you get disoriented real quick!! :?

A simple trick I use on these small models to accurately get the CofG right, is to insert a pin into each wingtip at the required CofG location with the pin head protruding about 3mm. Then I can quickly & easily lift the model by the pins to check that I have the model balanced correctly - far more accurate than using your finger tips! If you decide to move the CofG, just relocate the pins accordingly.

My Pageboy now has elevator

I wanted a 1S ESC for my Ponty theme build, so took it from the Pageboy and installed a 2/3S ESC in its place. At the same time thought I'd add an elevator. Original AUW was 80g - now with a small 2S lipo it's a little under 100g. Looking forward to flying it with this configuration :D

Yesterday I had a quick flight with my Pageboy with it's revised configuration - now with elevator and running 2S. Towards the end of the video clip it started porpoising a little, so I'll move weight a fraction forward. Other than that really happy with how it performed and maybe start doing a few maneuvers with it another time ;)
