Thanks to Ron getting me hooked on screaming Cox motors again with the Sharkie, and as the weather forecast last Sunday stopped me from venturing to Binham, this was hanging up in my workshop covered in dust and covering looking very jaded from when I last flew her in 1990 when I was living in Germany!
So off with the old covering, repair broken sticks where necessary.
Canopy renovated, tinted and mounted on a balsa plate.
TD 049 motor stripped and cleaned of old castor residue.
Fuselage and tail recovered.
FrSkY Rx with Skyleader TS Tx on aileron and elevator, finished off with a 300 Lipo Rx battery installed.
Now ready to go again and make a racket over the skies of North Norfolk

Nice job Stuart . Looking forward to flight report
I flew one of these in the late 80's. It was a lot of fun and that typical Cox "bee in a bottle" sound is still unforgettable - My ears are still ringing (oops, that's probably the tinnitus)

There is a plan for a nice 48 inch version on Outerzone https://outerzone.co.uk/plan_details.asp?ID=4097
