A hearty Merry Christmas to all from the Riverina area of NSW. Just had a great day with one half of the family on the in-laws 500ha mixed crop & stock farm. Best part was surprising the grandkids who thought we were still in NZ. Clear skies, light breeze & temperature topped out at 36C - sunset was spectacular! Certainly a contrast to Tobe's white Christmas pictures

Tomorrow it's Christmas with the other half of the family and 4 more grandkids to surprise and spoil. A Pop's job is never done

COVID restrictions are changing constantly with daily case numbers soaring as omicron bites hard. Our return bookings to NZ late January are now in a state of flux, the only certainty is that they will change.

So, please all take care, enjoy your festive season, and make sure you are here for a long time and a good time. There are still far too many radios to convert and models to build for testing purposes.

Before we left there last Sunday, the Kiwis we're complaining about anticipated heatwave conditions of mid-high 20's over the Christmas break, .

I guess it's all relative, but give me Australia any day mate!!
