Could you give the mag title, year and month for the 1.5 X Velivole? It would save sooooo much searching (10ft long wall from floor to head height of modelling mags). I've got the original plan in my vintage plan collection and probably the mag for the enlarged version, just got to find it.
taa very much.

It's RCM&E March 1991 (the one with "Shaun's Evil Twin" and his Coquette on the cover). As I'd already scanned it, I've attached it to save you looking.

Cheers

I think I've found the perfect model for Col, it can attack you with the front and there's protection from rear :D

Thanks for that. I've definitely got the mag and having read the text in the scan about it being powered by a Mills 1.3 my sluggish brain click into action. I'm sure I bough the plan! Oh dear, what 3 score years and 10 + does to you. Got 4 Irvine Mills 1.3 but possibly a lighter power source would be preferable.

Cliff Kershaw may have missed a trick in that VeliVole article. No need for a 'pusher' prop if using a side-port motor like a Mills as they will happily run in either direction with a 'normal' prop - as anyone who has attempted to launch a backwards-running motor will confirm !

Thanks Mike!

If anyone has the plan for the rc / ic version, could you let me know what gauge the chap specified for the undercarriage? I think I tend to go too light, and end up with bouncybendy undercarriages....
