I've booked my palatial room at t'Premier Inn (see - appen I'm even starting to talk like you northern lot!), so barring flood, pestilence or plague, I'm gonna be there. My mate Steve's promised to come along too, so that's at least two from dahn sarf.

Incidentally, this half-size business is challenging, innit? Practically every model I think of is already b****y minute. I think I might well be going geometrical again . . .

Good news David.

How about a 1/2 sized Ebeneezer model or variant. Dozens to choose from ...Sheet wings, build it in a few hours. Job done.... I designed a Phantom-eezer years ago.

Sorry it's not 'to the general theme', but it is to 'my theme'.......... here's what I've built for Ponty this year. I'm showing the pics here just in case I get the chance for a test lob and it doesn't survive..........

Very nice :) & a "Specky" looking prop too ;) You should have just told everybody it was reduced scale (99.99%). After all, who would know :o

Being a canard, you would have hooked up the elevator in the correct (i.e.reverse) sense - "up" elevator has the elevator trailing edge going down :? Enjoy the test flights, it looks a real winner
Cheers,

Wayne

Unfortunately, it's actually 135% of the original.....

And unfortunately (for Gary) the elevator is indeed hooked up the correct way - well, the wrong way - well, the correct way for a canard!!!
