Hi all. On a bit of a nostalgia trip this morning, just thinking back to my local model shop 'Herdmans' in Bishop Auckland. It was at the back of a pet shop, and I remember the boxes upon boxes of model kits, with the wonderful and enticing box art. Does anyone know where there is a good collection of photos of such boxes and their pictures? I'd love to see some of the old kits.
As a very young boy I remember looking at the display of various (then new) Cox engines and thinking with my wild imagination that they looked like they were venomous little things that could sting you. I guess I wasn't far wrong!
Oh for a wallet of cash and a time machine!
Stew.
