Yes I well remember the Sleek Streek, they flew really well . Now I have reached grandpa status I haven't been able to find anything comparable for my grandkids!

Indeed they did fly well Paul. Back in the 1970's/80's my R/C soaring club in Cheshire (BATS) used to always run a fun contest for thermal soarers on New Years Day (amazingly we had some really good weather ones, interspersed with a few stinkers) and we also had a "novelty" one model F/F event alongside it. One year this was for Sleek Streaks and it was amazing just how much performance some managed to extract from this little model by using stretch winding and other cunning methods, to the extent that a couple of the models were actually lost.
