Stew, Grace Slick is a little different looking now days, aren't we all! Looks like I'm on my own with Al Bowlly and music from the 20's, 30's, 40's etc. Still my musical tastes are a broad church but it does not accept modern jazz and rap as members of the congregation. For the past 30 years I've found I have a growing preference for classical music although I still enjoy the rest.

I only know one Al Bowlly song, and it's the one in 'Withnail and I' called 'Hang Out The Stars In Indiana' and very good it is too.

My musical tastes are massively wide, from classical, through bebop jazz, The Beatles, Joni Mitchell, Led Zep, Bowie, Pink Floyd, Genesis, Stranglers and all of the (proper) punk bands, to RadioHead via Annie Lennox, Bjork, not forgetting Weather Report of course and then off to a nice bit of Andy Mckee, my listening tastes go all over the place, but what always get's me smiling and has done since the release of his first album is a sizeable chunk of Squarepusher.
