Veron Verosonic
Anybody had one of these? https://outerzone.co.uk/plan_details.asp?ID=5153
Thanks to Gary D(nb), I acquired an original kit for the Verosonic. It appeals to me for conversion to electric & single channel, probably GG. Anybody already done this, by chance?

Re: Veron Verosonic
Phil Smith never designed a bad plane - he didn't know how to.
It will make a great s/c glider - looking forward to seeing the flying pics.
Cheers,
Shaun

Reminds me of the Veron Coronette - which I build - and it flew well

Re: Veron Verosonic
Thanks Nick - I much prefer the colour scheme on the Coronette box . Otherwise, it looks like they are the same design scaled to two sizes. When your on a good thing, stick with it!Nick M wrote: ↑21 Nov 2020, 19:36 Reminds me of the Veron Coronette - which I build - and it flew well

Re: Veron Verosonic
Found it !
Pic taken at the St Albans Vintage gathering way back in June 2006. This Verosonic was being aerotowed and looked delightful in the air.
Sorry no airborne shots.

Re: Veron Verosonic
It would look great scaled up 100%.
If I didn't have so much in my build queue I would be up for it.

Re: Veron Verosonic
Looks to me like an all moving tailplane & airbrakes/spoilers, 3ch probably.
Regardless, what a superb looking model . Thanks Spike
