I had a go at making a box for the pixie combo just to finish it off,
Its made of balsa wood and photo paper. Not totally accurate but my take on it. Pleased with the results though.

Re: My take on a Pixie Box
Hi Scott,
How did you guess?
It is my take on it though so it’s not as the original but then neither is the transmitter with all its wonderful gizmos.
The graphic is just something I knocked up in photoshop.
I have a high res jpeg of it but unfortunately deleted the photoshop file. It’s also slightly smaller than the original box as I molded it around the TX & RX. Easily printable on an A4 sheet.
The lid was easy to make but the bottom part took more work with it’s partitions etc.
By the way, if anyone is interested in what I printed it on, I found some superb Matt self adhesive photo paper A4 in Yorkshire Trading @ £1.00 for an 8 sheet pack.
I’ll post the graphic here when I get in.
Ron.
PS. Instruction Booklet next.

Well done Ron, I like all those finishing touches.
It is a really nice build of a complete system, will you be using it in an install or keeping it as shown?

Re: My take on a Pixie Box
Thanks Ade,
No I’ll be using it. I’m funny like that. Until it’s flown it’s not a complete system
Are you gonna build one? I can let you have the decals and the tx slide switch. Bought a load of switches.

Re: My take on a Pixie Box
I have printed out a case but am attempting a Pageboy build at the moment. Once that is finished I will return to a TX build.

No probs
Let me know if you want some decals and a switch.
I’ll bring them to ponty anyway.
