Re: Hi all
Many thanks Ron for setting this up, I'm just glad to be "persona grata" again! I have not been idle while I have been in the wilderness, this is my family so far with the exception of an RCS Inter 6 reed set which is still work in progress......
I am somewhat "electronically challenged" so all use one or other of Phil's magic gizmos.- Shaun

Re: Hi all
Hello Kids - I found you . Thanks Ron for the "heads up" & the new forum - triffic job!
For me, having the the "retro" scene as a common interest and then the ability to share it with like-minded reprobates (renegades?) is both a sanity saver & a source of inspiration. Looking forward to many many more creative sparks issuing forth from my 'puter....
best wishes to all
Wayne

Hi everyone... greetings from !sunny France... (it is persisting down right now)
You only ever need two tools....WD40 and duct tape.
If it doesn't move when it should use the WD40 and if it moves and it shouldn't use the tape.

Re: Hi all
Yes, nice to see a new forum!
To recap: I've recently successfully flown my first single channel in 40 odd years using Phil's s/c emulator.
Little Cirrus on slope and Tomboy electric. By successful I mean that they flew around and I still have them intact...
Currently building a new model, more later.

Nice one Simon,
You know what they say, If it's still in one piece, then it's a successful flight and if it's in the same field its a great landing
The little cirrus looks fun.
