I started building this for this year's Ponty, not now going ahead, unfortunately.
I originally built one of these when I was 14 or so. It flew beautifully with a Cox Babe Bee rescued from a control liner. It was a one flight model as I never saw it again as it disappeared downwind climbing merrily.
It's amazing how long a Babe Bee can run with a full tank!

Maidened the Snipe last week, a little nose heavy but flew well.

Must be part of the pysche of a Snipe.... the one I built at 14 was last seen burbling away gaining height behind my elder brother's DC Merlin.....
I will build another.... as soon as I have time!

Re: KK Snipe
My cunning plan with this one was to hide an electric motor under a dummy Cox Babe Bee...Oh, and radio and rudder helps too.Colonel Blink wrote: ↑25 Jun 2020, 08:00 Must be part of the pysche of a Snipe.... the one I built at 14 was last seen burbling away gaining height behind my elder brother's DC Merlin.....
