Hi all:
Currently I am assembling a Phil Encoder with Lemon DSMP Transmitter DIY Module. I would like to seek advise and guidance on the following: -
1) Lemon Module instruction manual specific that the module and Antenna / Cable should be sited away from any metal plate. Based on my configuration (See attached photo), the module will be mounted close to the Push Button Switch which has a metal plate. Route of the Antenna Cable is also close to the switch. Should I change the location of the module and cable to avoid any possible interference?
2) What is the best way to mount the module after binding with receiver. Can I shrink wrapped it then mount it to the plastic box using double sided tape?
Thanks

Hi Edward, that looks great, nicely done !
your aerial will be fine as it is, and yes you can shrink-wrap the module and DST it to the case.
When shrinking, dont let the module get hot, the SMD solder has a low melting point!
Alternatively members here have created a proper mount for 3D printing, eg

Cheers
Phil

Hi Phil:
Thank you for your reply and advise.
As I like my Module to be removeable, I will likely construct a box to enclose it
