Gem single-channel for Gary

Post by Phil_G »

Gary picked up a very clean Gem on ebay and asked to have it converted, heres the result ;)
Uses the standard PIC single-channel emulation encoder and a Frsky V8 module:

Well done Phil👌

Gary, why not just convert one of those fabulous FF models you turn out? ;)

Hi Phil

Where on earth did you find a V8 module?! I gave my last one to Ron a few years back, and I assumed they were all safely installed in conversions by now. For size they are still the best ones made aren't they? The DHT is larger with it's telemetry port and components on both sides of the circuit board and the new XHT modules are fractionally bigger again. That's progress for you.
