I picked this up at Buckminster on Sunday for £15!
It is an "Astral" by Modelectric.... The label is faded but otherwise it is in remarkably good condition. Does anyone know anything about Modelectric, like who was behind it and when they were doing their stuff?
The condition is such that it would probably fire up but I intend to convert it to 2.4GHz. There is plenty of room in the case so I will leave the original electronics as they were...... for posterity!
It was a good day, I also found a pristine 3-channel Harry Brooks Tx and a pristine 4-channel Waltron...... Standby for more encoders please Phil!
