Thanks, Wavemaster. In fact, as you surmise, I’m OK for all the bits, now. Though most of them are still soldered to a prior board ...... the board that, in December and 98% complete, jumped off the kitchen table and smashed onto a tiled floor. The, now, relatively heavy circuit board (pictured above, in this thread) broke into two pieces, and half the rear-mounted variable pots sprung off, taking the copper track with them. Oh, I did laugh!

You will forgive my not replying to your kind “pointer”, any earlier, but I lost all interest in the Versatile 12, Remcon, and vintage electronics, until this past week. During which, I have etched a new board and have begun transferring the components.

My method of working seems to be measure twice, cut once ..... and even then, make another one, for some reason or other!

It took me 52 years to start this project, what’s another 3 or 4 months?

Hi John just found your post - I’m glad you have got going again with the 12
Just found this smashing photo of one included with a boat on eBay (all very expensive though )
Not seen a red handle before but it does look right
