RCS 10 Channel
Thought I would share with you the set that Bluejets facilitated the purchase for me from his friend in Oz!
It arrived a couple of weeks ago with 4 Bonner and 1 Soraco servo and looks like the Tx case is in need of a bit of the "Mackay Fettling" before I think about fitting one of Phil's Reeduino Encoders.
So here is the obligatory "Before" picture and all suggestions welcome on restoration! As you can see, there is more than a little to do to get it back to its former glory, but it exists and thanks to Bluejets for arranging its sale and subsequent shipment home to "Blighty"

Re: RCS 10 Channel
I recreated the full front decal for this set years ago. It's on Singlechanell.co.uk I believe.
I re-fettled my case using silver Hammerite, fixed on the decal (printed on clear vinyl) the sprayed the whole case in clear polyethylene. Still good many years on. It has one of Phil's prototype hand made pcb's for his mk 1 reed encoder in.
Shaun.

In Aus we tend to drop it in molasses for a given time, cleans up like new.
Good to see all arrived ok.

Shaun sent over his scanned version but Jonathan had already drafted out an Autocad version which you can see here. There were subtle differences between the two Txs so clearly each one was a hand made rendition back then.

Re: RCS 10 Channel
Sanded the case back to bare metal, yesterday, as I didn't want the paint stripper getting in case seams and causing problems later.
Gave the case two coats of silver Hammerite, left to dry overnight and a second very slightly thinned coat applied this morning.

Re: RCS 10 Channel
Here's my RCS 10 I mentioned earlier. It was as bad as Stuart's. Silver Hammerite and a few hrs photo shopping a scan of the original front decal produced this.
This set has one of Phil's original prototype pic based reed encoders in. It's years old now and still my favourite Reed set.
