Stuart, I can tell you George has seen the restoration pics and is REALLY chuffed.
Happy to see it restored to it's original condition.

Wasnt happy with my brushed Hammerite finish, so a rattle can was procured, all the paint sanded off the exterior using a orbital sander and then primed, cooked in the oven for an hour, at 50C, followed by two coats of the spray Hammerite silver, oven baked for half an hour at 70C and then the laser printed decal applied, results are as below!

That’s looking good Stuart , hammerite is not one of the easiest paints to apply and your results are excellent..
Are the decals printed on a clear sheet and applied as one ? Or individual?

Single sheet, trimmed to size, applied using drop[ of washing up liquid in a spray, left to dry, then another clear sheet laminated over the top to protect the laser print.

They have turned out well , laminated sheets are very good and cannot see anything of them at all..
Brilliant Job

You'll be ready to start switch twitching in no time Stu.
Re the decal the other option is to apply the laser printed vinyl sheet to the tx than spray the whole case including the decal in clear polyeurothane varnish. My RCS 10 tx is around 10 years old now (it uses the mk 1 pic encoder) and it still looks as good as new.
No chance of air bubbles this way (when laminating the second sheet of clear vinyl on) and it's thinner.
In fact it had an outing yesterday when Phil, another pal and I went slope soaring to Baildon. I gave my new Graupner Amigo an airing on Reeds.
