An NRF24L01 FHSS homebrew "10 Channel Reeds" emulation

I've completed a 10 channel Reeds emulation using the 'lockdown' homebrew FHSS code, as you'd expect its a true and accurate reeds emulation with variable servo transit speed, reeds progressive elevator trim plus trim on all channels, ATV adjustable travel volume per channel, range-check sweep, Single-Channel compound and sequential escapement emulation, inactivity alarm, audible mode identifiers etc. It borrows code from my Reeduino project but instead of driving an expensive conventional PPM RF module, it uses a very cheap NRF24 (typically £2-£3 each) using FHSS on 2.4g as with the other NRF projects. It works with either the original lockdown FHSS receivers or the 2024 rx update. Shaun's seen it demo'd at the club, and fancies making one himself
We've all bases covered now I think, with versions for proportional, single-channel button, 2+1, 1+1 and now reeds. The 'lockdown' FHSS project is over 4 years old now, over that period some decisions have been queried but I like it the way it is, its been 100% reliable, has astonishing range, uses a single-cell flightpack, links immediately, allows me to use any transmitter with any model (even swapping mid flight) without changing anything, has full failsafe that can be set from the Tx or Rx, yet the code is easily understood. The document is a bit rushed so may have a typo or two, I'll revisit that as & when. I probably will try to convert my old C.G. Hoover 8 channel reeds to this. I got it about 60 years ago, it was old then.
I should mention that was Frank Hoover out of Albuquerque, N.M., Hoover Electronics, C.G. was his son and he had an Engineer named Ted.

Here's an easier way to mount the mini 3v3 regulator onto the back of the canned NRF board rather than can-side as we usually do.
After carefully removing the plastic spacer, most of the NRF pins desolder easily but because the groundplane acts as a heatsink, the GND (neg) pin is much harder to remove. This method sidesteps around that problem by leaving the 3v3 & GND pins in place. Do remember to wire the MISO, MOSI, CSN, SCK & CE wires first though as the regulator will obscure them - and make sure the regulator is mounted chip-side up like the photo, and spaced enough to clear the signal pins!
