My Jr 60 with Tiny 6 Radio

Post by TomWatson »

I had 4 flight today with my Jr 60 (electric) guided by my Tiny 6 radio. Beautiful autumn day in Sydney. I fly at the Charles Kingsford Smith Model Flying Club just west of Sydney. All the club flyers were amazed with the simulated Reed controls.
I am building a 12 channel (6 Function) set from PhilG.

Regards

Our field is surrounded by commercial grass growing companies. We own the field we use. We hire one of the guys from the grass companies and they cut the whole field with a huge mower. Two runways one is 900 ft. and the other is 700 ft., 70 ft. wide
I am the only one who flies retro models. I think they see me as a bit Odd!!.

I was so happy with the way my Jr 60 flies that I decided to strip off the plastic covering and cover it with silk. I had to make a new tailplane as I had to destroy the old one top get it off the fuse. I will fly it on Sunday.
Regards.

I think that Phil was referring to your joining together of smaller wing bands rather than pay for ones the correct size!

Mind you, I'd not thought of joining them together, and that is a Top Money Saving Tip!!!!
