I'm starting a new trend... Making replicas of Tobe's transmitters....well not quite but it does have an old school bent up ali case vinyl covered. Tobe's stick's and other 3D printed widgets . Phil's NRF electronics on Tobe's new encoder pcb and Rx as well.
Just the servos to make using Mike's servo amps and I've joined the 100% non commercial radio set club....Roll on Ponte..
Actually, I've just realised, the battery meter is from a Remcon set so has anybody in mode zero land built their own version.... It's only 99% non commercial...
Shaun.

Re: New take on replica radios.
Had some time tonight spare so put the guts in. Just need to wire the sticks and trims and it's done. Checked the output with Martin's 2.4g scanner and it's hopping away like a "good un" .
Should get it finished tomorrow. Just need to dig out some resistors for the trim slider pots and crank the soldering iron up again.
Not bothered with switches for the mixers; just using a spare Spectrum bind plug to bridge the pins if required.
With a bit of luck it will be flying Sunday.
