Just thought I’d share this as I know it can be done ,not sure if anyone has done so on here ..
Had a few Flight Link servos with busted plugs , 5 pin plugs /skts are not available , and thinking I’ve already made two repro transmitters , I thought I’d make use of original equipment with updated electronics for receiver case and servos ..
I removed from some of the cheapo 9g servos, the servo amp and disconnected the pot from the board and re-wired to the old feedback pot inside the flc servo, two wires to the original motor , plugged into receiver and yes it worked , but they are 50 year old slow servos compared with new stuff we have now
