Another new Encoder
It's been a busy week as I've had a delivery from JLCPCB with four different encoders (see other posts for the other encoders), this one is for mounting in transmitters with easy to remove back covers, such as MacGregor Digimac's or Horizon HSE that don't have labels on the front to hide the LCD and menu keys. It uses the board from my standard GTB encoder with a daughterboard to mirror/reverse the LCD connections as it's mounted to the rear and also raise the LCD and menu keys away from the joystick/switch wiring. Once I finish a Futaba M6 conversion, an unused MacGregor Digimac III converted at the factory to 4 channel will be converted as a test-bed, but I'm not expecting any snags as the encoder in its standard form is now well-proven.
Cheers
Mike
