Your modelling output is exceptional pal. I wish I could do 50% of this. 😄😄

The traveller in the box is a great idea. Years ago there was a slope glider called Sigma (Single or 2 channel) that had a custom wood suitcase made for it that included the tx etc.

Slowly we are getting decent weather so it's time to get thing ready for the field, I'm surely behind schedule but working on it
Still a lot on the to do list but getting there...need to build a few Rx and check CG after sorting out the battery stack....some are pre-Corona.....mmm

You have a few models at my house pal. Definitely a Blunderbird, possibly a pageboy
I'll have a look for you when I get home.

...I'm close to have more models around the world than home...which is a fortune because I wouldn't have the space for it here  8-)
My son's comment, dad you can fly a model airplane more than a day normally!

There's a multiprotocol module there if you missed it in the pic.

I have a Sigma complete with its own customized travel case. Mine is rudder & motor, using Phil's 1+1 (propo rudder & 3 position throttle). It's a great combination that has provided naff all slope flying but hours of thermal fun.

For anybody considering building a travel box or case, I recommend you try 4 or 5mm core-flute (like corrugated cardboard but made from plastic). Easy to work, comes in many colours, waterproof and much tougher than cardboard or thin 3ply.

Wayne

When I covered it on the mag, I had an email from a guy who built a 2 x version and was considering a 3 x or 4 x version.
