Found this in Jan 1987 RCMW.

1/2 size model Futaba S128 servos.

Modern day thinking would be 20kg digital, metal geared ball raced.

Makes you think eh!

Yes, I keep remembering how we used Bellamatics to fly my friend's Taurus back in the day (1965). It was powered with an Enya 60 and I used to hand launch it for him. Never had a notion that the Bellamatics were too weak with their 250 gram force or anything (was it 250 gram ?)

Bellamatics were great little servos! Still got my old Grundig set, all still works. I seem to recall Dennis Thumpston (?) flying some amazing WW1 scale models at the Nats using the Grundig gear, back in the 60s...

And Bellamatics were so versatile. S/c, reed, GG. A true multi servo.
