Thanks , I was OK with the servos having had a Sprengbrook radio, the info on the TX is very interesting, I am tempted to see if it works, with the batteries removed and being kept in the dry, it looks good inside.
Incidentally the Sprengbrook along with an English World Engines set were the worst and most unreliable radios I ever had, with abysmal service, my Fleet 35 MHZ and SkYleader 27 mhz beat them hollow!

Ah! :P Stormer, I have just aquired a Kraft single stick similar to those in your picture.

It has been well used and is a bit grubby but I think it will clean up OK and make a nice conversion. However it is not in working order so.......... Can you please confirm what all the various "trim levers" do? The Elevator, Aileron and Rudder trims are obvious but what is the trim on the right side of the stick for? On the side of the box, I think the top trim lever must be the Throttle control(?) but what are the button, switch and lower trim lever? (Channels 5 & 6?).

See pictures. I have included a few manuals...if I dig deeper I would probably find more! Used to service Kraft in the early 80's
If you make conversion of a Kraft Tx keeping the original encoder you need to invert the PPM signal thus I have included schematics for an inverter.
To remember also the channel sequence don't follow todays standards so to benefit of a Rx fail safe you would need to remap the channels and this needs to be done not by switching just the wirering but at the encoder IC as Kraft balance many functions with several resistors of very high tolerance.
