The OS and Taylorcraft too, of course....
My first car was a yellow 1978 4GTL, fond memories...
I noticed yours doesn't have the extra cooling air inlet like mine had.
Yours has the front licence plate there instead, just like my dad's 4TL back then.
My GTL's successor, a 4F6, served me for a great many years until it literally came apart.
I once replaced the gear box (synchros were shot), found a good one from a 4GTL at the dump.
The very first time I tried it in 1st gear, it went backwards.....
Both were 1108 cc engines, but in the 4F6 turning the other way.
Took it apart again and swapped it for the right one.
Oh, where are those days when I could do these things myself...
Back to modelling, I see your channel ribbon. Guess what?
Some day I'll put it back to work again....
