OK Lads,
Here is something a little bit different.
The photos are screen grabs from a Continental RPV promotional video.
Sorry about the quality but it was an old video taken a long time ago.
Still I think the message is clear enough.
Sadly I never got to their factory for a first hand experience.
Cheers,
KK

One last photo on this topic.
US Marines training on shoulder launched missiles.
The high power transmitters we produced were used to control these large target drones.
Have a look at the number of Drones in the previous post. It is a pity each drone did not require its own transmitter. :D

Hi,

My tx works fine, never tested the Rx.
I haven't flown it and I won't be converting it to 2.4 GHz ; it needs keeping intact.as a pristine example. When I have time I'll test out the full set up with an escapement and check the range though.

Shaun

Oh.. buy the way if anybody in Australialand (๐Ÿ˜„) has some nice examples of Silvertone sets and want to do a deal and send them on their way to the UK to add to my and Phil's museum collection, don't be embarrassed about contacting me. ๐Ÿ‘

One last question.
What frequency are your transmitters on?
We originally started out on 27MHz but when the Citizen's band radios started to overwhelm us we were given the 29MHz band and even later a slot on 36MHz. We also had a small slot on 40MHz all the way through.

As a confirmed "Australiaphile" I would like to add to Shaun's request....... Send the good ones to Shaun but I would also really like a Silvertone, preferably single-channel or a fairly basic propo to convert to 2.4 and USE. I don't mind a few "honourable battle scars", it doesn't have to be pristine as long as you can still read the logo on the front! Please pm if you can help....... ;)

I certain it's 27 MHz but I'll check again this week. It was a long time ago when it was last powered up.

It definitely isn't 36 or 40 MHz. If it was originally purchased in the uk it will be 27M MHz

Hi Al,
I was looking at your TX box and I realised that I do not have a single photograph of my 10 channel reed systems.
That photograph on your TX bow is the only photo I have seen.
Would you mind taking the best quality photo you cam manage and post it on the forum.
I would really appreciate that.
Cheers,
KK

Hi Ifly,
Not me I must report.
I still have two Mark 22 TX, one Mark VII and one XPT800.
Both Mark 22 are being used as dual control trainers on a 40" Piper Cub.
Cheers,
KK.
