Thanks to C19, starting digging out my collection of old Simprop stuff and giving them a long overdue clean up.
Here is a Digi 5 from 1968.
It is beautifully manufactured with lots of german attention to detail and is more than just the folded vinyl boxes that were prevalent back then. The backplate is hinged on a piano hinge.
Dont know how much they sold for when new, perhaps Shaun can enlighten us?
I do have an affinity with Simprop as I worked for Claas for 26 years and also when I lived in Harsewinkel in the late 80's, I did a lot of work for Simprop where Fritz Bosch and his team became great friends of mine.
Thanks to tiptipflyer (Frank) for sharing his original Digi Simprop catalogue, with all the circuit diagrams in too fascinating stuff!.

Re: Simprop Digi 5
Here is the Digi5 little brother, the Digi 2+1, this is the version that was sold by Mainstream in the UK .
It has just been converted using a Digispark 3 and a FSKY XHT module, all powered by a 500 maH Lipo
