Hobie Hawk news

Post by jmendoza »

Finally got a long term Hobie Hawk restoration completed, I started this job in March. The fuselage is re-painted, wings and tail feathers repaired and recovered. Best of all, it now has a Phil G conversion of the RS Systems transmitter to 2.4 GHz. This makes this Hawk just like the RTF version Hobie offered; they came withe either a Kraft, and later, your choice of Kraft or RS radios. I used an original 2-in-one RS servo brick, which we updated with new servo amplifiers and motors.
