Uproar

Post by jmp_blackfoot »

I plan on building a Chris Olsen Uproar this winter. I never read anything about the propeller size used with either the Fox 29 or ETA 29 engines except that the Fox 29 sounded good to Chris Olsen at 12000 rpm. I'm guessing that the propellers were maybe size 10x6 ? I am contemplating using the Uproar to give air time to several engines like a Supertigre S29, a Supertigre 46, a Veco 45, a Fox 40 or even an OS FS40.

Try using rclibrary.co.uk

https://rclibrary.co.uk/download_title.asp?ID=1996

https://rclibrary.co.uk/download_title.asp?ID=1852

These 2 books list a large amount data about engine power, rpm prop size etc

Thank you much for this link.
Appendix 2, page 187 gives the Fox 29 turning a Top Flite 10x6 Power Prop at 12400 rpm.
