Thanks to Shaun for confirming the plan CG at 4 1/4 inches from leading edge and the finished model balanced out perfectly!
The decals arrived from Sniper Graphics yesterday and the bright sunshine and melting snow proved a good back drop for finished model pics.

Very nicely finished model.
With that sleek fuselage, generous wing area all hauled along by the Merco 60 it looks like it should fly well.

Good luck on your test flights.

Every plane Phil Smith designed flew well so no worries about it not performing. It still looks modern after 55 years... An bubble canopy was included in the early kits. Not sure about the later ones.

Managed to get some air under the wings of the 1966 Veron Concord for the first time today, steered around by a period american Pro-line radio fitted with the F3A encoder and LEMON Rx 2.4 module. Flew perfectly, Happy Bunny!

Well done! It's a great plane to fly in the UKCAA (classic aerobatic association) competitions. They are really friendly events to attend, even if you have no aspirations of winning. Going along as just a spectator is good too
