So, after a lot of fettling, the rebuilt Concord has reached the covering stage, so here are the obligatory bare bones shots before covering all of the bare balsa.
At the moment, sticking with the ASP 52 as the Merco 61 needs some more tinkering before it can be used.

Use the kit box top colour scheme Stu. It looks great in the flesh.👍. We can put on a synchronised flying display ..

That was the plan Shaun! Will be substituting the white with yellow though, other colours (red/black and grey oracover) will remain the same.
just need to get a sheet of glass to join the red to the lighter colours before attaching to the wings.

Model pretty much finished apart from some decals and ready for committing aviation when Covid allows.

Followed Shaun's suggestion and replicated the box scheme with yellow substituted for the white.

New old stock Merco 61 installed and wings/tail changed to a bolt on fixing instead of rubber bands.

Lovely model Stuart, that's certainly been a labour of love restoring it. And it looks better with a Merco too, but is that an ASP silencer fitted?!

Cheers Mike

Thanks Mike! It is an old Irvine silencer that I have modded to suit whilst I still ruminate about a tuned pipe set up!

Well done Stuart nice job. I know that is a mighty wing and you did it in record time. Hope the maiden goes well.

I've not forgotten about the C of G Stuart I will sort it tonight for you... I've been on the clock to finish my latest Ramblings column.. PC issues didn't help... A Win 10 update screwed things up and it's taken hrs to sort: And yes I know I this wouldn't happen with a Mac but I'm not a fan of fruit based computers.
