New model- Envoy

Post by AlexC »

This model languished in my attic for a number of years. But thanks to the lockdown is nearing completion. Originally built for a small diesel but have made a mount to take a small motor.

Looks good Alex. What R/C system are you intending to use - GG, S/C, Reeds or propo?

(spoilt for choice thanks to the brainiacs on this forum  )
Cheers,

Wayne

I'll probably fly it initially propo using my Sprengbrook or Futaba M to get it trimmed etc. Either transmitter will then allow me to fly on the button. As you say, thanks to the very clever people on this forum :D :D

Hi Paul,

The model was covered in Solarfilm Litespan and given a couple of coats of clear dope.
The weather was kind to us today and she had her maiden flight and it flew well if perhaps a little tail-heavy.
