Super 60 weather window Maiden

At last the moment came on Tuesday. I skived off work for a couple of hours as the weather was just perfect. The Super 60 is my first plane with a real engine or not electric. It was a WONDERFUL maiden . Blue sky And my Super 60 purring along. Oh the SOUND and that trail of smoke ! I think I have crossed over to the DARK SIDE !

I had understood that "Going over to the Dark Side" referred to adopting 'leccie power.
No matter. Well done on the maiden and welcome to the Oily-hand Brigade ! Your clothes will assume another level of nasal nostalgia.

Ha ha ! It’s a terrible photo of me and look at me with two coats on - I look like those 70’s cover shots with an orange anorak with go faster stripes and castor oil all over it - I MUST get one !
Super 60 or Super at 63 soon to be 64
It’s been that long trying to get one of those little buggers ( engines) to start !
This time a good buy off eBay. A Thunder Tigre 54 4 stroke. Just glorious!
I’m good with vintage car engines but could not get a model engine to go. But I think I’ve finally cracked the code
