Hi Guys,
So my transmitter & receiver are now finished,
Casings are printed on a Creality K1 3D printer using Creality hyper PLA. 100% designed in Tinkercad.
The decals are my usual method, designed in affinity designer for Mac, laser printed onto self adhesive clear vinyl, then stuck onto mirror chrome vinyl and finished off with a light coating of clear lacquer.
Stick unit is from an old Skyleader clubman Tx, as is the meter. It was fun getting the trim slots to line up with the centre hole, took 2 attempts, they literally have to be within 0.5mm tolerance so they don't bind.
Chrome handle, manufactured by Hammond is from RS, part number 256-5580 priced at £4.34. each
Here is a video of it all working,
Thanks for looking
Ron
