All balsa, lite span only on top surfaces of wings converted to rc after getting fed up of repairing them.

Used e power and a basic motor timer

The pilot you can just see was a highly detailed one; can't remember where I bought it but it ended up in the Sir Jasper model in last months RCM&E plan feature.

SAMS Models sell the excellent range of miniature foam pilots sculpted and painted by Dave Banks. They come in different scales @ £3-95 a pop. Look here:

1/3rd scale WWI, Multirotors, Control Line, Retro, Gliders, Indoor Aerobatics and Scale:- I like it all :D

I'm not really attracted to the WW1 stuff but there's something about the DH2 that appeals to me. Yours looks really nice.

Actually came across my original model last week at a bring and buy model sale.... A shadow of its former self. Kidding rotating motor missing, damaged, messed up battered and bruised.
