"Eau d 1000" can be purchased on the day for £1.00 per squirt.

Ah that's cheered me up. Highlight of my year.

I'm putting in my request to the weather gods for a fine dry weekend!
And no injuries this year! I can still hear that 'Mills bite' now, hope the poor chap healed well!

That "poor chap" was Ken Binks....... and he should have known better!!!

Yes it did heal but I'm sure he still bears the scar. ;)

Ah, glad to hear that! I have a few such scars myself.
Two from swapping the model between hands after starting, and one from a fuel locked engine where my starting finger slid down the back edge of a new master airscrew prop. Damn they're sharp!

But yay! Ponty!! Can't wait.

So..
Who will be flying on the button then to commemorate our 10th event?

We must be able to beat the number who got involved with Blunderbird pylon racing.

'Have nearly finished a 150% "Sharkface XL" built specially for the event, 'will post pics in a day or so...... :P

Update:

Back in day I built a normal sized Sharkface powered by a PAW 1.49. To say it was a hotship is an understatement but I loved the model so a few years ago, when I discovered Phil's wonderful s/c emulator and got into this Retro thing, the first thing I built was an electric Sharkface.......

I quickly discovered that I am not as young as I was....... My reactions are slower and the thing was so small that in no time at all I could hardly see it! It now has a smaller electric motor but still I really haven't flown it much. I have long intended to build a bigger Sharkface but with the same PAW 1.49 as before. So Shaun's announcement that this year's "theme" was to be single channel, it was just the prod I needed........ 'Miserable weather this morning so I was forced to work in the shed....... and here is said Sharkface XL. :P Lemon receiver, PAW 1.49 power.

A small but important question if I may please?
Will there be coffee/tea mugs made for this years event at Ponty?
If so, will non-attendees be able to purchase them?

Regards
