OK, thanks Shaun....... I will wait to see the forecast on Friday before deciding which day to go. I think it will be OK both days but minimum wind is what I will be looking for. :)

I will be there for all 3 days, with my caravan full of chuck and duck, most of which have not flown for ages so looking at a lot of ducks and I don't mean Mallards

Phil_G wrote: 27 Aug 2019, 11:42 What a fantastic weekend, I think the best Nats for many years. Non-stop sunshine and a light breeze,
nothing like the usual "Storm Barkston" that we're used to :D

Send Shaun your good wishes, he had to go home 30 minutes after arriving, he was in agony, white as a sheet with a huge distended tum. He only made it as far as Newark A & E but he's now in Leeds Infirmary, but this being a bank holiday weekend, there are very few staff on duty and he's drifting on morphine until they can arrange a scan. I'm sure a 'chivvy-on' from his Mode-Zero pals would help a lot.
Cheers & get well soon bud
Phil

Cheers pal, did I really look that grim😮
Medical update.. my gall bladder is goosed so I'm having surgery to remove it hopefully tomorrow or possibly Thursday depending on the theatre list.

Cheers,

Shaun.

I was going to put something topically witty but I thought get well soon was probably more appropriate.🤒.

Tough luck, Shaun. Hope the surgery goes well and you recover quickly.

Oh dear! :o

So sorry to hear of your plight Shaun. As it 'appens, I nearly had a kidney removed by a wayward model during the Chuck and Duck so if you had stayed you might have got rid of your gall bladder more quickly! ;)

I hope it all goes smoothly and you'll be up and flying again very soon :P .
